Seaside resorts

Porto Recanati
Set against the striking backdrop of Monte Conero, Porto Recanati has been a seaside destination with a warm welcome for over a hundred years.
It is a typical small fishing town which offers the tourist the chance of a tranquil and relaxing holiday. The seafront is completely closed to traffic, and so is the ideal setting for those peaceful walks, so good for the health, among the colour-washed houses, with complete freedom for the children to play in safety. The additional pedestrian zones on Sundays and summer evenings make Porto Recanati even more welcoming, with no traffic or parking problems.
A calm sea laps the long, sandy shore, which is protected by numerous breakwaters. At the bathing establishments there are facilities for all kinds of sports, to add to the attractions of the sea itself.
There is something for everyone, for the young and not so young, in the activities and the accommodation on offer to the tourist: modern hotels, extremely wellequipped camping-sites, tourist villages in dramatic scenery, swimming pools, tennis courts and five-a-side football pitches, an aquatic park and sailing races at the Sailing Club. Finally we must mention the many accommodation solutions offered to tourists by our staff, who are experienced professionals in the field.

Sirolo
Sirolo wonderful old town is full of unexpected angles and views. The heart of the city, within medieval walls, are the perfect scenery for a pleasant holiday. The squares and the streets come alive with outdoor cafes, restaurants, shops and markets, creating ... emotions.
Its sea sides are among the most beautiful Adriatic coast beaches. Rare beauty clear waters and beaches offer an exciting environment.
The awards from Lega Ambiente and Touring Club, the acquisition of European Blue Flag, placed Sirolo among the top cities in Italy recognized for excellence in protecting the natural environment.

Civitanova
Civitanova Marche was founded as a small fishing village and still retains its strong links with the sea and maritime culture, although for some years has developed into an important industrial center in the footwear and leather processing.
The city now has a variety of landscapes and colors, an ancient medieval town rich in history and art, a large and well equipped beach, clean sea and many times awarded the prestigious Blue Flag, typical food and wine, fascinating culture and folklore. Besides all this, to do shopping in the outlets of companies of international renown. A city can meet the needs of tourists with interesting and innovative proposals in respect of traditions and warm hospitality of the Marches.

Senigallia
The great thing about Senigallia is that it does not have to promote one single element to be remembered or to rely on tourist potential. It is like a meal that is so rich and nourishing that it would be impossible to pin point it to one single ingredient.
Of course, you can talk about the beautiful coastline , the lovely beach and the clean sea . However stopping there would not do justice to the other features of our town, which are not less attractive or stunning.
It would mean forgetting the splendour of our piazzas and monuments , the innate hospitality of our people, the wealth of the museums and the excellent cooking . In other words , it would mean not fully recognizing the quality of life, in the shadow of the Rotonda, which is actually the most important aspect of a holiday made in Senigallia.
So, if we do really have to advise tourists who choose to spend their holidays on the velvet beach , we would recommend to allow plenty of time. Because a holiday in Senigallia needs to be savoured leisurely, with the people you love most and allowing yourself to be wrapped in soft colours, just like a walk on the seafront at sunset. Then you can really say “What a wonderful holiday”.
